California Vacation- Newport Beach part 1

Our little family decide to brave it with a baby and fly to California. We met up with Darren's parents and siblings and rented a beach house for the first 5 days and then went to Lake Arrowhead and stayed in Darren's Aunt Susan's cottage there. We had tons of kids there and boy was it a blast.

We took Stockton on his first plane ride. He did awesome. Everyone kept asking us if he ever cries. We just told them he is pretty much perfect.

Our beach house was in Newport Beach. It was a house away from the beach. A few of the mornings I would go running along side the beach with my Sister in Law, Tiffany. It was pretty cool to do my runs by the beach and ocean. Made it a "little" easier.

Everyday we would pretty much go hangout on the beach, relax and eat at lots of awesome restaurants. ( I gained 7 pounds) We had a so much fun!

Eating at Rudy's overlooking the ocean!

Mommy and baby!

He had to have sandals too, right?
Love his face!

This is how we protected him from the sun. He loved it. He took awesome naps in it.

Stockton enjoyed the beach.

This is Stockton's one year old cousin, Paisley. This picture just made me smile of her.

This made me laugh....

Darren watching BYU sports and Stockton enjoying it too. Like Father Like son.

Couer D'alene

Since we have moved away from everything we know, we have decided to take advantage and explore parts of Idaho we have never even heard of till now. We packed our bags and spent the weekend in Couer D'alene. It is one of the most beautiful places in Idaho. It has this beautiful lake surrounded by all these expensive homes.

The first day we went and strolled around the Lake. We enjoyed the beauty and Stockton enjoyed being outside! That night we decided to go swimming. When we brought Stockton out this lady freaked out and said it was freezing in the pool. Darren put his foot in the pool and agreed it was too cold for Stock. So we decided just to put our feet in the hot tub. This other guy freaks out and is like "YOU'RE NOT BRINGING HIM IN HERE ARE YOU?!" We just laughed. Why on earth would we bring a baby in a hot tub.....smart guy. Stockton loved watching everyone. Whenever we had him look away from all the kids he cried. He wanted to be social. It was cute. He didn't get to go swimming, but he enjoyed himself anyway.

The next day we wanted to take a boat tour. I swear we were the youngest people there. Everyone was really old. All the old ladies loved seeing Stockton on the boat. One old lady even brought me pictures of her cute grandchild.
I love this little guy. I wish the picture was better, but Darren says our camera is just fine. I beg to differ.

He wouldn't keep his eyes open during each picture! It's ok though he is still adorable!

Relaxing in the hot tub.

Yes, we love to always kiss our little man.
Us, boarding the boat.
Inside the boat. We love our hats!
On top of the boat.
Darren was excited by this part. It was the famous Floating Green Golf Course.
Stockton LOVED the boat ride!

Stocktons blessing and Utah trip.

During the last week of July we decided last minute to head to Utah. We wanted family to finally get to see him and have his blessing around everyone we knew. It was such a quick and fun trip. We got to see both of our families and a few friends. Stockton did Fabulous! He surprised Darren and I how good he was.

We had a lot of fun in Utah. Now that we live in a small town, we are easily entertained. I think my highlight was going to a Target and Cafe Rio! The best part of the weekend was being able to share Stockton's blessing with everyone. It was such a great blessing and I was so proud of Darren to give it to him. I love my little family.

Stock in his blessing outfit. I wasn't a fan of the white outfits we had in Moscow, so put this little number together.
He wore this under the sweater vest. Isn't he the cutest little man?

We had a luncheon after at a park. Darren being one proud daddy.

One of the fun things we did was go to Provo's Saturday Market. My Sister in Laws have started their own Waffle Shoppe there. They were soooo good.

This is a start......

I am such a proud Momma, that this deserves it's own blog post. Since Stockton has been born he has been in our bed sleeping. Well Darren and I are so happy to announce that Stockton is starting to sleep in his own bed!

I hated going to bed when he wanted to sleep and I hated that his pacifier kept falling out that it would wake him up. This momma found a solution! I sewed his pacifier to a beanie baby. We also found a baby white noise app on our Ipad.

We are so proud of him. It actually worked! We set the noise app for ten minutes and put his pacifier beanie baby in his mouth and he was out! We are such proud and happy parents!

We are so proud!

Watching them grow up

Since Stockton has been in our lives, he has never ceased to amaze us. It has been fun to watch him enjoy life. We have enjoyed his first smiles and first laughs. This boy loves what the world has to offer. We as parents are excited to watch him enjoy it!
Stockton enjoy his toy! He can try to grab the toys and loves to play with them.

Stockton at 6 weeks

Wow! Time goes so fast with a baby. We absolutely are in love with him. He is just over 6 weeks old now and we are enjoying every minute with him. It definately has been fun to see his personality grow and grow.

First off, he is totally a cuddle bug. I have always wanted a cuddly baby. There are times where it can be hard, like when he wont sleep anywhere but nuzzled next to his momma. There are other times where its the best. Who wouldn't want to hold a baby and see there sweet face? I love this sweet cuddly baby.

Second, He is getting the cutest smiles. It's so cool to talk to him and he just smiles back. He loves to hear us sing and talk to him. (he doesn't care if we don't have the best singing voices either)!

Next, he is sooooo dramatic. When he eats he acts like he hasn't eaten in days. He makes the loudest noises and gulps. Darren and I just laugh. You should also see when he has to poop. SOOO dramatic!

For the most part he is a really good baby. He does have his moments when he is fussy, but for the most part he is happy. Darren and I couldn't of asked for a better and cuter baby. He is perfect in our little family. We hope we can add a brother or sister for him someday! Especially if they are as cute as him.

His daddy sure does adore him

He loves his baths

My favorite item

The best money I spent Stockton is this Moby Wrap. I finally have my hands free and can catch up on stuff. If you have a cuddle bug too, then I suggest this wrap. Did i mention it puts him out within 5 mins without fail?

yes he is a thumb sucker.....or should I say hand sucker?!

4th of July

This year for the 4th we really weren't sure what to do. We have always gone down to Provo so Darren could run the Freedom run and just hang with family. Not this year. We are 10 hours away! Luckily our friends came to the rescue.

We got up early and headed about 20 minutes to this small town, population 10( you think I am kidding, but I am serious). At the small town we went to a 4th of July parade. It was Stocktons first real outing. To bad he didn't get to enjoy it he slept through the parade. It was a fun parade and can't wait till next year when he can actually enjoy it and catch the candy with the other kids.

After the parade, Dar and I went shopping and bought me some new clothes. ( I hate this in between awkward stage after having a baby). Then got ready to go to our friends house for a bbq and fireworks. The food was great and we all pigged out.

That night we went and watched fireworks at another friends house. Stockton did AWESOME! He didn't cry once. In fact, I swear, he slept the whole day. Even through the fireworks! Love that boy! Hope everyone had a great 4th of July like we did!

Our little family waiting for the parade to start.

This is what Stockton did almost all day! He sure looks cute sleeping though.

Watching the parade with our friends.
Our yummy food.

Okay so maybe he woke up for a minute when the fireworks started.

My cute two boys!

Stockton.......

Stockton Rees Tintle FINALLY made his appearance on June 9Th 2011. He weighed 7lbs 13 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Perfect in every way.

On June 8Th they decided to start the induction process, which inquires 12 hours of cervidal to ripen your cervix and then pitocin to start dilation. I arrived at the hospital at 4:30p.m. but didn't start the cervidal at 8:30p.m. at 4:30 a.m. I woke up and felt some pain and like I peed my pants. It was official I was in labor.

The next few hours were a blur. Around ten I was dilated to a 2 1/2 and I was begging for an Epidural. When the Anesthesiologist finally came around 2 hours later I was just about a 6 and was in excruciating pain. Darren said he wished he had his video camera going, because I said so many "one liners." I never said so many swear words in my life. At one point I told Darren, "I love you, but I just want to hit you!" After the Epidural, Labor was a different story.

When I got my Epidural, I absolutely loved my Labor. (still wondering how people handle labor without meds) I was joking with everyone. I had a huge smile. I loved my epidural.

The one downside to my epidural, but still would do it in a heartbeat, was my labor started slowing down. They ended up giving me Pitocin to speed up the Labor a bit.

12 hours later, with 1 1/2 hours of pushing, Stockton was born. He is Darren and I's life and joy right now. He couldn't be a more perfect baby. He latches on great and sleeps like a champ. Mommy and Daddy are proud.

One thing I wanted to add about this small hospital we went to, was it was amazing. We had so much attention with Stock. We got all the help we needed to learn to breast feed and take care of him. Nurses there were AMAZING. I felt so loved there and learned so much for a first time mom. LOVED THEM!

Darren and I are getting adjusted to parenthood and enjoying our naps even more now. We love Stock and want to show him off. So here are lots of Pictures! The day I went in to get induced. 6/8/11
