Stockton at 6 weeks

Wow! Time goes so fast with a baby. We absolutely are in love with him. He is just over 6 weeks old now and we are enjoying every minute with him. It definately has been fun to see his personality grow and grow.

First off, he is totally a cuddle bug. I have always wanted a cuddly baby. There are times where it can be hard, like when he wont sleep anywhere but nuzzled next to his momma. There are other times where its the best. Who wouldn't want to hold a baby and see there sweet face? I love this sweet cuddly baby.

Second, He is getting the cutest smiles. It's so cool to talk to him and he just smiles back. He loves to hear us sing and talk to him. (he doesn't care if we don't have the best singing voices either)!

Next, he is sooooo dramatic. When he eats he acts like he hasn't eaten in days. He makes the loudest noises and gulps. Darren and I just laugh. You should also see when he has to poop. SOOO dramatic!

For the most part he is a really good baby. He does have his moments when he is fussy, but for the most part he is happy. Darren and I couldn't of asked for a better and cuter baby. He is perfect in our little family. We hope we can add a brother or sister for him someday! Especially if they are as cute as him.

His daddy sure does adore him

He loves his baths

My favorite item

The best money I spent Stockton is this Moby Wrap. I finally have my hands free and can catch up on stuff. If you have a cuddle bug too, then I suggest this wrap. Did i mention it puts him out within 5 mins without fail?

yes he is a thumb sucker.....or should I say hand sucker?!

4th of July

This year for the 4th we really weren't sure what to do. We have always gone down to Provo so Darren could run the Freedom run and just hang with family. Not this year. We are 10 hours away! Luckily our friends came to the rescue.

We got up early and headed about 20 minutes to this small town, population 10( you think I am kidding, but I am serious). At the small town we went to a 4th of July parade. It was Stocktons first real outing. To bad he didn't get to enjoy it he slept through the parade. It was a fun parade and can't wait till next year when he can actually enjoy it and catch the candy with the other kids.

After the parade, Dar and I went shopping and bought me some new clothes. ( I hate this in between awkward stage after having a baby). Then got ready to go to our friends house for a bbq and fireworks. The food was great and we all pigged out.

That night we went and watched fireworks at another friends house. Stockton did AWESOME! He didn't cry once. In fact, I swear, he slept the whole day. Even through the fireworks! Love that boy! Hope everyone had a great 4th of July like we did!

Our little family waiting for the parade to start.

This is what Stockton did almost all day! He sure looks cute sleeping though.

Watching the parade with our friends.
Our yummy food.

Okay so maybe he woke up for a minute when the fireworks started.

My cute two boys!
