Loving Pregnancy and Moscow!

I would like to tell you I have been too busy to blog, but I haven't. :) I thought I would update you all on what has been going on the last month or so.

We are FINALLY getting settled in Moscow. I am adjusting to being a stay at home wife and soon to be mother. I love getting my cute little house all set up. I love making dinners and just being a wife. I got use to not working really fast and don't miss that at all! Darren on the other hand has been super busy at his new promotion. He loves being the boss, but with that comes more pressure from the big guy. We both have loved getting to meet new friends. Which we have had a blast with them. It also helps they are HUGE BYU fans.

Moscow sure is different then Utah. First of all people are just so dang nice! I thought Utah people were nice, but you haven't seen nice until you have seen the locals here. No one is in a hurry and takes there time. Even my new doctor wasn't in a hurry for the next patient. LOVED IT!

One thing that has been hard, besides being away from family and Utah friends, is that shopping is a whole day! You have to plan your day to go an hour and half away to just go shopping. (Not groceries, but fun stuff :) ) Other than that LOVE it here!

Another thing that has been changing in our lives is the baby coming soon and my pregnancy. Even though I am a High Risk pregnancy, I feel my pregnancy has gone pretty smoothly. I am not swollen and have not gained tons of weight. I am loving my baby belly and love when people want to touch it and comment on it. (people in Moscow are not afraid to either)

We have put tons of time into our nursery. It is looking totally adorable. It would of been almost done, BUT my changing table broke getting shipped here and was total piece of garbage. We are back to ground zero with that. Plus, we have to make a trip to Spokane to find something else now. BOO!!

All in all moving has been a big blessing in our lives. It has helped Darren and I depend on each other more. It has also helped us to get out of our comfort zone and go to activities the community and church offers. It also has made us appreciate our families more. We can't wait to see them soon!

One last thing.....We are STILL having a boy! Darren was soo worried about that. We got another ultra sound done last Wednesday and confirmed it. Can't wait to have him here and show him off!

and now for pictures.....

My cute little boy!

Here is his crib with bedding. We did paint the walls a baby blue. I can't wait until he gets to sleep in there. We will post more pictures of our nursery when its done.
