Our sweet Stockton

Stockton is 4 1/2 months old. He has been such a blessing and joy in our lives. Everyday Darren and I get amazed at the new things he does. One day he starts to giggle and then in two more weeks he laughs at everything we do. LOVE HIM.

Here are some fun things about him. He is a very laid back baby. He doesn't cry much. When he does it's usually because he is tired or hungry. Hiccups? No problem, they don't phase him. We even have to check his diaper to see if its dirty. He doesn't care if it is! EEK!

He LOVES to be held. He wants to be held all the time. He will be totally content for hours if we just hold him. If I do need to put him down so I can get stuff done, he wont be as happy, but wont complain much. One thing he just started doing is while he is being held he will cuddle up and put his head on my shoulder. Melts my heart every time!

Stockton has the best smile. Whenever he has a big smile he scrunches his nose. Cutest thing ever! He loves to smile at anything mommy and daddy do, especially daddy. Daddy is the funniest thing to him. Daddy is basically the only one to get Stockton into full out belly laughs. It's hilarious! This is good for daddy, because Stockton is a Mommas boy.

Bath time is one of his favorite times of the day. He loves to splash his little feet. He would stay in there all day if we let him. He is one clean baby!

Stockton has just learned to sleep in his own room and crib. In fact he has gotten so good at it. We just can't forget to swaddle him or he cries til daddy comes to the rescue. If only I could get some sleep now that I have my bed back to myself again.

I could go on and on about this guy. He is the love of our lives. We couldn't of asked for a sweeter baby to come into our lives. We feel so blessed to have him and can't wait until we can give him a sibling. Hopefully soon!

California Vacation- Lake Arrowhead part 3

For the last few days of our California trip, we went up to Lake Arrowhead. We spent the rest of the time there relaxing, boating and playing games. It was a great way to end our trip. Here are some highlights of Arrowhead.

California Vacation- Disnelyland part 2

Our second part of our trip we took Stockton to Disneyland. We know he is too young to remember any of it, but we will. We had so much fun sharing it with all the family and his cousins.

First stop was Club 33 for lunch in Disneyland.

Darren and I enjoying Club 33. Don't worry Stockton is asleep in his stroller.
This is my first ride of the day. This is where my side ponytail had to comedown. :)

My first time on teacups. My mom never let me go on this ride. I think its cuz she hated this ride?
Reasons why a girl would be fun! Cinderella and Jane. This was actually funny, she ran in front of the line and gave Cinderella the biggest hug. It was awesome!

Stockton did this when Jane met Cinderella! haha!

we made Stockton meet the Princesses. He hated it of course!
Haha! He really hated the Princesses!
Darren doing his share of Kid rides! We both loved going with kids and can't wait to take Stockton when he is older.
Stock slept through the loud Mickeys Playhouse Show!

After we fed him, Darren trying to amuse Stock.
Does he look amused?

Can't leave Disneyland without a treat! MMMMMmmmMMMMmmm

California Vacation- Newport Beach part 1

Our little family decide to brave it with a baby and fly to California. We met up with Darren's parents and siblings and rented a beach house for the first 5 days and then went to Lake Arrowhead and stayed in Darren's Aunt Susan's cottage there. We had tons of kids there and boy was it a blast.

We took Stockton on his first plane ride. He did awesome. Everyone kept asking us if he ever cries. We just told them he is pretty much perfect.

Our beach house was in Newport Beach. It was a house away from the beach. A few of the mornings I would go running along side the beach with my Sister in Law, Tiffany. It was pretty cool to do my runs by the beach and ocean. Made it a "little" easier.

Everyday we would pretty much go hangout on the beach, relax and eat at lots of awesome restaurants. ( I gained 7 pounds) We had a so much fun!

Eating at Rudy's overlooking the ocean!

Mommy and baby!

He had to have sandals too, right?
Love his face!

This is how we protected him from the sun. He loved it. He took awesome naps in it.

Stockton enjoyed the beach.

This is Stockton's one year old cousin, Paisley. This picture just made me smile of her.

This made me laugh....

Darren watching BYU sports and Stockton enjoying it too. Like Father Like son.

Couer D'alene

Since we have moved away from everything we know, we have decided to take advantage and explore parts of Idaho we have never even heard of till now. We packed our bags and spent the weekend in Couer D'alene. It is one of the most beautiful places in Idaho. It has this beautiful lake surrounded by all these expensive homes.

The first day we went and strolled around the Lake. We enjoyed the beauty and Stockton enjoyed being outside! That night we decided to go swimming. When we brought Stockton out this lady freaked out and said it was freezing in the pool. Darren put his foot in the pool and agreed it was too cold for Stock. So we decided just to put our feet in the hot tub. This other guy freaks out and is like "YOU'RE NOT BRINGING HIM IN HERE ARE YOU?!" We just laughed. Why on earth would we bring a baby in a hot tub.....smart guy. Stockton loved watching everyone. Whenever we had him look away from all the kids he cried. He wanted to be social. It was cute. He didn't get to go swimming, but he enjoyed himself anyway.

The next day we wanted to take a boat tour. I swear we were the youngest people there. Everyone was really old. All the old ladies loved seeing Stockton on the boat. One old lady even brought me pictures of her cute grandchild.
I love this little guy. I wish the picture was better, but Darren says our camera is just fine. I beg to differ.

He wouldn't keep his eyes open during each picture! It's ok though he is still adorable!

Relaxing in the hot tub.

Yes, we love to always kiss our little man.
Us, boarding the boat.
Inside the boat. We love our hats!
On top of the boat.
Darren was excited by this part. It was the famous Floating Green Golf Course.
Stockton LOVED the boat ride!

Stocktons blessing and Utah trip.

During the last week of July we decided last minute to head to Utah. We wanted family to finally get to see him and have his blessing around everyone we knew. It was such a quick and fun trip. We got to see both of our families and a few friends. Stockton did Fabulous! He surprised Darren and I how good he was.

We had a lot of fun in Utah. Now that we live in a small town, we are easily entertained. I think my highlight was going to a Target and Cafe Rio! The best part of the weekend was being able to share Stockton's blessing with everyone. It was such a great blessing and I was so proud of Darren to give it to him. I love my little family.

Stock in his blessing outfit. I wasn't a fan of the white outfits we had in Moscow, so put this little number together.
He wore this under the sweater vest. Isn't he the cutest little man?

We had a luncheon after at a park. Darren being one proud daddy.

One of the fun things we did was go to Provo's Saturday Market. My Sister in Laws have started their own Waffle Shoppe there. They were soooo good.

This is a start......

I am such a proud Momma, that this deserves it's own blog post. Since Stockton has been born he has been in our bed sleeping. Well Darren and I are so happy to announce that Stockton is starting to sleep in his own bed!

I hated going to bed when he wanted to sleep and I hated that his pacifier kept falling out that it would wake him up. This momma found a solution! I sewed his pacifier to a beanie baby. We also found a baby white noise app on our Ipad.

We are so proud of him. It actually worked! We set the noise app for ten minutes and put his pacifier beanie baby in his mouth and he was out! We are such proud and happy parents!

We are so proud!
